AirReps Announces Retirement of Bob Guerin

AirReps, LLC extends its best wishes and appreciation to its Executive Vice President, Bob Guerin, who will retire after 22 years of company leadership and service in Spokane, Washington. His last day will be August 31.

For the past 20 plus years, Bob Guerin has been an integral part of the growth at AirReps,” said AirReps President Michael Hawkins. “Bob’s dedication to his customers has always been an inspiration to his coworkers and me. He has always put his customers first, so it is no wonder that this basic formula brought him such success!  Bob, you will be missed, your name has become synonymous with AirReps. We wish you and Cathy the best in your retirement, and we all hope you both enjoy every moment!”

Guerin’s 40 years of commercial HVAC experience was inspired by his father-in-law, a mechanical engineering instructor at a local community college. Guerin said he and his expecting wife took a leap of faith when asked to open an AirReps branch in Spokane; the first office was his basement. “It was the best move I ever made,” said Guerin. During his tenure, AirReps in Spokane acquired Vemco Inland Northwest and grew to 14 employees.

Guerin will be succeeded by Greg Nelson, Regional Vice President at AirReps. “I want to congratulate Bob on his retirement!  Always the consummate professional, he has literally shaped the Spokane city skyline over the last three decades while representing the AirReps brand and core values down to every last detail,” said Nelson. “His career has defined what it means to be a top-level account executive, and his influence will be long-lasting within our office and engineering community. I wish him well in the next chapter of his life.”

As Guerin enters retirement, he plans to travel, explore new hobbies (namely woodworking and target shooting), and spend time with his wife, four children, and grandchildren; his eldest son, Kraig, also works for AirReps.
